1729 Photography

I'm based in the Munich area, and photography for me began as a hobby — though it's long since become more than that.

As a scientist I've studied how people actually see a photograph: how the eye and brain turn light into an image. Both sides — the artistic and the scientific — keep drawing me in.

Lately I've been pulled more and more toward portrait photography. If you'd be interested in modelling, I'd love to hear from you.

Ich bin im Raum München zuhause, und die Fotografie begann für mich als Hobby — ist aber längst mehr als das geworden.

Als Wissenschaftler habe ich erforscht, wie Menschen ein Foto tatsächlich wahrnehmen: wie Auge und Gehirn aus Licht ein Bild machen. Beide Seiten — die künstlerische und die wissenschaftliche — faszinieren mich.
